When an Irish Mobster finds a clue l to his missing brother, he enlists the aid of a traumatized Priest and a psychotic killer to uncover a web of corruption in search of the truth, and God willing, his brother.
EXT. DOWNTOWN BOSTON – NIGHT
Light rain soaks the UNFORTUNATE FEW caught outside on this godforsaken night.
MICHELLE TANNER (30s) pushes a stroller past graffiti and garbage under flickering street lights.
THE PRIEST (O.S.)
(Irish accent)
I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity.
The Shadows take on human-like shapes amid a lightning flash.
Thunder cracks. Michelle flinches in fear. Her eyes flit about, and fall upon —
— THE PRIEST – in front of an alley, dressed in black. A wide-brimmed hat cloaks his face in darkness. A leather duster barely reveals the white of his collar.
He wields a Bible in one hand… and a fifth of whiskey in the other.
The Priest spies her approach.
She pushes ahead with guilty, but wary eyes.
He slips the whiskey into his duster and opens his Bible.
THE PRIEST
And I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
The icy wisps of his breath feed the hungry Shadows surrounding him. They reach for —
— Michelle. She hurries past in fear.
The Priest draws a derringer from his hollowed-out bible and presses it against the base of her skull.
